SIMPLE RAJMA PAKODAS


INGREDIENTS

  • Rajma -250gm
  • Tomato-1 large chopped
  • Small Onion chopped fine -1
  • A handful of coriander leaves, chopped
  • Lemon-1/2 juice
  • Chilli powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala powder and Salt to taste, Ghee for frying.


METHOD

Soak rajma in water overnight.

Remove the skin by pouring boiling water over it.

Grind the rajma to a coarse paste.

Add the chopped onion, green chillies,tomatoes, chilli powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, and salt to the paste.

Mix by hand roll into small balls.

Deep fry in hot ghee or oil till golden brown.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.


NOTE

Make sure that you are 
grinding using very less water, if you use more water and the water content makes to hold excess oil while deep frying.
