MOONG DAL MIXTURE ( SALAD )


INGREDIENTS

  • Deep fried green gram dhal - 250 gm (Moong dhal)
  • Onions - 2
  • Carrot - 1
  • Coriander leaves little
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 table spoon
  • Lemon - 1
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 table spoon
  • Masala Powder - 1/2 table spoon

METHOD


  • Take oil in a pan add mustard seeds to it when they splutter add finely chopped onions, grated carrot, sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, masala for the dhal squeeze lemon and serve immediately with coriander garnished on the top.

  • Deep fried green gram dhal are available in the market or you can prepare them at home soak the dhal in water wipe dry on a towel and deep fry them in hot they cannot be removed easily, using a strainer for frying as they are very small. The wide iron netted strainer with tiny holes and handle should be used keep the strainer in oil and add some dhal and deep fry remove later lifting the strainer from the oil and put on a paper to absorb excess oil.
